My major research interests are in modern and contemporary English literature. I have published on Anthony Burgess, Robert Nye, Jane Rogers, Penelope Fitzgerald and George Mackay Brown.
I am developing research projects on female strength artistes in Edwardian England, and Anglophone novelists of south east Asia.
